Measure the correct dosage for your pond. Add to a bucket of hot water and aerate for 20 miniutes to gas off any impurities. Fill a clean watering can with solution from the bucket, slowly apply to the pond over a 1 hour period. This will prevent shocking the pond with a highly concentrated dose.
Kusuri Potassium Permanganate will turn the water purple. Re-dose as required to achieve a minimum of 15 hours of purple coloured water e.g., 2 hours and the pond goes brown, redose, pond goes brown after 5 hours, redose, pond goes brown after 8 hours. 2+5+8=15 hours of purple water. Kusuri recommend adding Hydrogen Peroxide 6% to re-oxygenate and clear brown pond water.
