Description
Sludge Answer is a blend of benificial bateria to convert and remove sludge from fish ponds.
Sludge in ponds builds up over time on the pond floor and not only is not nice to look at but can cause problems in ponds by eroding oxygen levels and by providing a breeding ground for un-friendly bacteria.
Designed for frequent use throughout the year on established ponds and is also great on immature ponds and will help bring your filter to maturity.
Sludge Answer is also a great follow-up treatment for the immensely popular Blanket Answer blanketweed treatment.
Doseage Guide:
Diluted in a watering can of mature pond water, and then subjected to a bombardment of oxygen via an air stone & pump for a 30 minute period.
This assists in bringing the cultures to life more quickly.
For new or problematic ponds. add at rate of 100ml of Sludge Answer per 1000 litres of pond water.
Follow up dose of 50ml per 1000 litres should be added every 28 days.
Mix treatment in 3 litres of pond water and apply all over the pond surface.
Turn UV off for first 24 hrs
